This series was an editorial project for the Gateway Mile marketing initiative in Elkhart, Indiana. I wrote profiles of people who live or work in downtown Elkhart to help demonstrate the community’s character and charm. The articles ran on the now-archived Gateway Mile blog, as well as a twice-yearly Gateway Mile magazine. Jason Bryant was the photographer for the series.I wrote the profiles for the first year and edited them for the second. See also the social media campaign I ran to support the project.
