The Hot List is ALIVE’s annual list of St. Louis’ best spots in dining, nightlife, shopping, fitness, beauty, arts and culture. It features 100 or more local businesses each year, each awarded with its own “STL’s Best” title. In 2013, I helped select the list of winners, assigned and edited the Arts & Culture and Fitness & Beauty sections and facilitated online voting for the people’s choice awards (a Hot List first).
